Update on Homework

Hey Fabulous Idea College Prep Poets!

When you post your poems you need to include the author, source (where you found your poem), and the type of poetry. Don't forget to check the criteria we copied and discussed in class Tuesday and Wednesday BEFORE you write the type of poem. Also, review your SAT Plan and make sure that each poem is related in some way. You can tie them all together using similar subjects, themes, time frames, cultures, or regions; like we discussed in class. Refer back to your MYP Unit Plan - SAT Intructions if you have questions about the anthology project and what you need to include.

If you have already posted your lyrics and ballads, then post your free verse and epitaph poetry. Any and all poems submitted can be written by you. I've enjoyed the free verse poems and epitaphs you wrote and submitted last week and look forward to reading more of your original work.

Your next post is due Tuesday, January 30. Check out each other's poetry and don't forget to post your poems on your own blog as well so your classmates and friends can post comments.
